Court

“Court” is the word lawyers tend to use when referring to that group of services where clients may end up in some form of court or tribunal.  Probably the largest proportion of our work is related to divorce, separation and family matters.  Whilst we head this section up “Court” clients can be assured that the overwhelming majority of our cases do not end  up in court, they are settled by correspondence and negotiation.  Click on the specialised areas below for further information.

Caesar & Howie is one of Scotland's longest established legal firms and can trace its history back to 1792.  Originally based in Bathgate, solicitors of the firm represented West Lothian clients throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries.  From the 1980s onwards a steady programme of expansion has been undertaken and the firm now has a network of 16 offices and over 30 display outlets throughout the central belt. In 2006 the firm added “The Central Scotland Law Group” to its name to reflect its provision of legal services across the central area of Scotland.

The firm has been a past winner of the prestigious “TSB Business of Law” award.  This recognised Caesar & Howie’s inventive approach to computerised legal case management systems which were designed to speed up work and improve client service.  This innovative approach has continued in the firm with much of the work being handled by fully trained and qualified practitioners using the most modern equipment and software.

We continually seek to provide a quality service in all the geographical and work areas where we operate.  Please view our services and network pages for further information.
